This Turned out to be a SCAM!! The Contest was won by a blog that had only been up for a couple of days before the closing date. It left a lot of bloggers very unhappy and Ashwin got a lot of nasty comments from them. The posts have since been deleted but the blog still exists. I sure have learnt my lesson and I apologise to anyone who followed the link on my blog and entered the contest.
I have seen a few blogs that run competitions now and then with prize offerings running into the hundreds of dollars. Its a good way of promoting your site and driving up traffic.
I came across a blog and I thought that there had to be a mistake in the prize amount or this guy (Ashwin at Ashwin Khanna Dot Com) is just crazy!!!!
